it says signin in2 msn failed bcoz the service iz temporarily unavailable plz try agen l8r n it has an error code @ the bottom itz bin doin this 4 a few days now

try re-installing it and if that doesn't work, sorry mate, can't help you anymore.

Does the repair button not come up when you troubleshoot it? This is what usually happens to me most of the time and when I click on repair it usually signs me in

Sounds like you upgraded to MSN live mail before upgrading to Live Messenger, the makes the webpage run WINDOWS messenger instead of MSN messenger, i've had a lot of calls about this problem.

Simply move back to standard hotmail and uninstall messenger altogether, clear all the internet history files, then re-install windows live messenger before checking your hotmail.

Terrible idea.. First MS installs a trojan virus (called windows genuine advantage) onto you comp without you knowing, then tries to get you to "upgrade" your hotmail to a version that can run executables on your system!

Spyware at its best! (sorry, rant over!)
