I think this thread may be to pay respects, not to analize his death in any way.

I think what the docs trying to say is, observe some respect! You have your freedom of speech, but just try and not be so crass by saying what you have. And also can i point out earlier in the thread you said ''oh well'', that is why iv had a go, it feels like you are being a bit dis-respectful!!!

Im not trying to disrespectfull.... But two minutes earlier I had been inslulted, sworn at and threatened because I didnt participate in a minute of silence....
I thought and still think people use the minute of silence a little too easily. Its a shame that the man had to die this way, with a whole life ahead of him. I respected that people held their mouths shut for a minute but I do not wished to be forced into doing something I dont stand behind for a full 100%
I had the respect for them and I believe that they should have respected my opinion as well...
Have we cleared all of this out now or should I use even more posts to explain what I think I explained often and clear enough now...

I hugely respected Steve Irwin, despite any misconceptions people may have about him, he did a lot for education to do with animals, as well as helping endangered species and running one of the best zoos in the world where animals are well looked after and live in good conditions.
Although yes, he was a little bonkers, in the best possible way.
R.I.P.
EDIT: Thousands of people have swam over stingrays in the same way Steve Irwin did, it was just purely unfortunate that one of these usually placid, none aggresive creatures reacted, and even more unfortunate that it hit him in the heart.
And servechilled, this thread was being used to pay respects, you would have been better to keep your opinions to yourself, yes he was daft to do that with his baby, but it is my firm belief the baby was not in danger, he knew gators and crocs better than any human alive, he knew the dangers, and the limits.
