LOO K E VERY1 I NE ED AD VICE SU MMA BO UT M A CO MP i m 1 3 y rs o f a ge a nd a s i w as o n her e it tur ned m e of f su m bl ue scre en ca me up say ing th is is a prob lem on the co mp we ha ve res eted it to prev ent the dam age and when i tur ned it back on when the bl ack scre en comes up wiv the writing at the bottom it says disk boot failure please insert disk and press enter so i put in any disk cuz i did not know what i were doing and it started working do u think i've made it better or worser

right look every1 i need advice summa bout ma comp im 13 yrs of age and as i was on here it turned me off sum blue screen came up saying this is a problem on the comp we have reseted it to prevent the damage and when i turned it back on when the black screen comes up wiv writing at the bottom it says disk boot failure please insert disk and press enter so i put in any disk cuz i did not know what i was doing and it started working do u think i've made it better or worse

I hope it wasn't a shiny cd, if it was you may as well buy a new computer.

If it works now its probably fine! seem's you may have a spider trying to get under your space bar though....

you need to go to bios and change it to run from your cd drive... then restart with your windows cd in the drive if you cant even do this then you mite as well buy a new pc. if you get that far you have 2 options.

1....if you are with xp go to start, help, system restore and restore it back to the point before it happend.

2.or reformat your pc

Ok hey mate i have had this kinda problem before just restart your computer and you will be fine, when the blue screen come up did it say anythink about dumping physical memory ? if so then its fine

was it the screen of death and did it give you an option to open windows in safe mode?? if so i can sort if for you
