yep, and then when I get there, I generally slip down thirty points and start the climb all over again. I prefer the tournys - at least when u win one it stays won

20 rank is a bit steep players who are great will rocket to the stars.

If you're good enough, you'll get there without winning tournaments. Just try building your rank up by, perhaps, 5 a day and eventually you should get there.

The points for tourny wins idea was talked about a while ago. Because some players spend most of their time in tournys, and others play ranked games, it was felt that success in tournys should be rewarded with points to help balance the ranking tables.

ie. as it stands, a player who is on 775, and only plays ranked games may be of equal skill to a 675 who's reaching tourny semis and finals regularly, but never plays a ranked game.

A points system on tourny games would mean that the tables would eventually even out.
