Hi, I was thinking that we could have a new room for ‘Tactical Talk’, So good players can help out newbie’s and many other players, and talk about they’re tactics and much more.
But…
I think it should have an added feature like the tournaments link but it will take you to e.g. Tips For Newbie’s thread, so all the players can catch up on tactics and much more.

What are your views on this?

Is it because many players don't have pool spirit, and just play on here as its "just a game"?

its a good idea nutta, but i think Why it wont work is because you will always get the minority of idiots coming in to abuse the room, which would be a shame

unfortunately its not as easy as that is it?....Although a good idea, there will always people who come into a room to 'upset the balance' and good moral its meant to be for.....putting NO IDIOTS will only encourage them even more. Idiots use PMs and the rooms to annoy as many people as they can, so its adding more fuel to the Idiot fire.
I would use a room like that for the purpose its meant to be for.

As I should think it would be a room with only a few in at a time, everybody using their ignore buttons on any idiots would mean the idiot can only listen and not speak.

I think it's a good idea, and the tournament room or garage could both do with new purposes.

Edit: As well as just tactical talk, which may get a bit limited, I think it could be a Help Centre, for tactical talk, technical problems, advice on using forums, entering tourneys etc. It'd be a good place for newbies to go to find out anything they need from experienced players.

The Help Centre idea is excellent. It should help to cut down on repeated questions on the forums as well..
