I was in the middle of writing something on the forum an then had to go for about 25 mins.
It involved putting down lap times for sum racing game on the ps2 an was gunna go in the fun an games for a fun competition kinda thing, however after doing the races, then typing in the times and also doing a fairly long post, i click to post it and it goes to a screen saying 'idle for 30mins' or sumthin similar and i lose everything that I was typing!!!
Would it be in any way possible to have a way of not losing what you type or warning people who are inactive that they have been inactive for this time so that they don't lose everything that they were trying to type. It's rather annoying.

Could you not have hit the 'back' button on your browser, then opted to resubmit info, then you could have at least copy pasted. The reason is that you are automatically logged out of the homepage after 30 minutes, 15 minutes off the game server.
This is fairly standard security I doubt could be removed completely.

I know its for security, an it's needed but just showing what you can't type in would have been nice ^_^
I did hit the back button, it showed me the same thread that I was going to post on with a nice little message telling me to log on to post

If your on about a little warning on the forum and not the actual playing aspect of the site it would be near impossible. However if you are on the site playing pool but need to go away for a few minutes then a warning in the chat box could be implimented. A few weeks back when i got a bye in the tourney in the first round i decided to go watch tele and wait for the alert noise to come back. But i logged out and never got this so i was well gutted.
Like when you get an invite for a tournament a noise could be put in to alert us incase we people are making a cup of tea. My suggestion has to be this bloke... for a noise.

Funny yet Extremely practical for the situation, and to top it off, hes a geordie

What would be ideal for it would be:
You were unable to post on this thread as you have been idle for 30 minutes and have been logged out.
*your post*
This way you can remember what you were saying and can also copy and paste if you wish to.

noooooooooo
The problem is that the writing isn't there to copy! Thats all i'm saying, all i'm asking for is the writing to be displayed (like on the 'please only submit one time' screen) so that I can copy it!
Thank god for nutta on this thread!
