i have a couple firstyly there is a problem with an advert. its the monster advert on the forum. Its the monster job advert and before it comes a popup full of jibberish comes up that i have to click on before i can view the page. has anyone else experienced this??

Secondly i think the us table needs to be re evaluated. its not as tight as it could be. eg. the rail bouncing. i lost a tourny match because it didnt hit the rail when it clearly did - it was snoozing on the rail u could see the indent. Has this ever happened to anyone else either?

There are no pop-up ad's associated with funkypool that I am aware.
omputer coding is mathmatical. It is not inconsistent. So if the ball didn't hit the rail, it probably really didn't have the pace.
There are occasionally bugs in the coding but they are really obvious ( the balls literally take off!)

u digging at me magic??? i personally thought they were good comments. its not a pop up as such its like a warning with coding. but it does pop up and stop you viewing the page until u click ok. And there was plenty of force on the ball that DIDN'T hit the rail.

The popup is a problem with the ad system, not Funkypool, but it could cause you to miss a shot etc...

Its an advert with a broken link, doesn't seem to be happening today so hopefully its been sorted.

You're right about the rail thing too beannie!

t appears it only registers a ball has "hit" the rail if it has enough force to bounce off, even just one pixel! So it is possible for a ball to rest on the rail and that not count as "hitting" it.

I'm sure Nick will take this on board.

Hmm, what does the error message say on the pop-up, does it occur when your on the homepage or the server window?
I'm not sure about the hitting the cushion, maybe it does need to be more obvious.

It was only on the homepage (for me anyway), but doesn't seem to be happening now so presumably its sorted.

I get that pop up too, not just on funkypool tho

i keep gettin this warnin comin up on hopepage with aload of letters n stuff in it n dont go til i click ok

If you're still seing it, try using Shift-F5 to do a forced refresh of the homepage.

Squeezy - it seems(ed) to be an adserver issue, so any other sites using the same ad system will have the same problem.
