just wonderin why there are all these bye's i mostly get 1 all the time in 1st round of tournie,why??

It just depends on the numbers, In the first round of a tourney, the automated system gives out so many byes so that the next rounds will flow smoothly. So, say theres 56 people in a tourney. There will be 8 byes handed out so that the next rounds go, by members left in the tourney, 32-16-8-4-2-1. In other words its all about making the tourney go smoothly.
