rock/metal like above thee is originality hard work and alot of thought is usually put into the lyrics.

unlike pop or dance alot of songs are remixs or lack any thought. i am not sayign that all pop is worthles piece of cr*p.

Rock has been around since the 50's and has progressed since then forming into many genre. So the style of Guitar, bass, drum and vocal surely dominates
