Come up with a geniune and understandable query, or....

Its a genuine query, or rather statement, but remember dude, you are free to install the Sun VM or any other for that matter.

Also, you could limit your apps to only funkypool via your security settings to eliminate the risk.

Remember, there are plenty of wally's out there running Firefox, so if malicious control is desired, java is a very complicated way to go about it!

Ok, another angle, i have no option but to install j2ee as i get a nice little .bmp icon on the top left of a grey box when trying to run funkypool. ne ideas?

Dude. I have tried most VM's but have no idea what j2ee is!

Clear out any VM's or Java suites you may have installed and go for the latest sun release.

Remember to do a fully AV and Spyware scan first though, andeverything will be fine.

(I'd also hightly recomend IE7 whilst you're at it)
