Do any, or all of the games use directx? I have no experiance of graphical programming. Pure number-cruncher me! LOL!

I've tried installig a new (well, old, but new to me!)GFX card and, being a clean install, it loaded DX7 from the driver CD.

Funkypool played excellently, so i was delighted!

However the only thing i have changed since then is to update to the latest version, and FP is back to unplayable.

Coincidence?
