im sure most of you have heard that greece have been banned from competing by fifa due to "government intervention" in thier f.a, this means they cannot play their planned friendly with england in august which was to be steve mac's first game, a fifa spokesman said this.

In September 2005, the FIFA Executive Committee gave the HFF a deadline of 15 July 2006 to obtain from the Greek government an amendment to the national law on sports in order to enable the association to be in conformity with the FIFA Statutes

this means that unless greek law changes it is unlikely they can defend their european crown or that teams such as olympiakos and panathonikos can compete in europe, wat does evry one think about it?

What about italy though? they're bribing the referees in their league, in my eyes - thats so corrupt its worse than the greeks.
