how we could actually come to some conclusions about all the ideas people are having for the game. Its difficult to tell for a few reasons.

Most forum sites have poll threads as an option, so it would be easy to "borrow" the code if need be!

Almost all good ideas are implimented, you just have to be patient, i remember asking about US pool about 3 years ago!

Nick reads the threads. If it's a problem he answers it and if it's good idea he generally actions it - so there is no need to vote. Doesn't matter how many ppl agree or disagree, it's simply that the idea is voiced.

Problem is that many ppl will only vote for what suits them rather than what is good for the site anyway. Can you see GB specialists voting to scrap GB's?

Ok do we have do bring other issues into this thread? it would simply show admin the proportion of people in favour and against an idea. People dont post 'i agree/disagree' unless they have something to add, a poll would allow these people their opinion alone. what harm could possibly come of it?

I wasn't really bringing in other issues magic, simply giving that as an example of how personal agendas could cloud a vote.

Of course there's no harm in it, and it's a good idea. My point is that once the view is aired and Admin have seen it - enough has been done. Then it's up to them whether they want to instigate the idea or not. There's no real need for a vote, or for anyone to spend valuable time setting up a voting system.
