sometimes when i am playin n i click on join game or sommit it neva connects n just says please wait. also when i first click enter game it doesnt connect like now i have been waitin about 5 minutes and it still hasnt connected so i cnt play

may be your firewall but that would normally cause more consistent problems. Think everyone gets it the odd time. If your broadband is bad that could well be it.

it would do it all the time if it was my firewall wudnt it which it doesnt but sayin tht i just reset computer to see if it wud conect again but it hasnt

Strange...and is it a completely new developement?
Firstly reset your router, after that maybe test turning your firewall and the windows firewall off (just to troubleshoot)
Secondly wait until nick gets on....he should have a better answer.

Sounds like an internet connection problem.
Take a look at what other programmes are running, as file downloaders and other games could possibly hog the connection.

is your internet connected from another computer? because i had the same problem as you...what i did was unplug my internet connection leave it for an hour or 2 then plug it back in and connect to the internet then go on tool>internet options>advanced then make sure that all the settings are right
