The new one is the one introduced about the time funkypool was launched (cant remember exactly).. so unless you been playing since the pool sharks days it means nothing!

there's been a new one introduced spinner because before if you lost to say a 615 and you was 800+ you would only of lost 3.5 ranks or so and now you lose up to 4.8 thats the most ive lost up to now in one game anyway

Oh yeah the percentages have been tweaked (and will continue to be, i hope), but this is the *new* system. The old one was when 100pts was the max...

The ranking was changed a while back to increase/decrease numbers per game.

The new ranking system that _perfection_ mentioned , he means this current one. (can be confusing but ya know ).

And the reason you onli lost lyk 3 is because your ranking is less than others meaning an overall less rank being lost from your stats! Hope it makes sense now.
