When the ball is on the cushion your allowed to put backspin on. Even if the ball is tight on. In real life you cant do this. Would it be possible to limit the spin options if the ball is in different parts of the table. E.g. If it is on the cushion just allow topspin and a little bit of side, not backspin which is virtually impossible. Would add to the skill needed to play position.

that is a great point philippe, i just realised that. and yes it is impossible. same applies when you position the que too low, and you end up jumping the ball.

I see the point i put across when i was angry ... influenced u to make this thread i have been thinking of this for a while.....

Simple solution is going for a double or a more complicated double kiss. However I agree that the rules should be followed exactly for more realistic game play. Great spot Phil

Actually i had totally forgotten about it until you said mr_cue. But hey i aint in it for the acclaim, i just wanna make the game better. You can have all the praise though mr_cue, well done on a great idea.
