So i was 3-1 against this player.. and i want to leave, so the game ends, i say gg she breaks off quickly i click leave and she pots 3 off the break :S and i loose and like 4.5 points. Just wanted to express there should be a button both players click when they are ready to break off... I feel cheated :(

I bet she feels a gain then???
It seems a bit of bad luck you had cos most times after a break its less than 3 or none at all.
Seems like 'its one of them things'
maybe next time you cud mention in the last game that its the last one, But on the other hand some people will try to break off and get a golden break before you can leave, which i guess is not very sporting, but its gonna happen unfortunately........
My advice is (as before) mention its last game then before game is over write in chat box gg wp etc and do a quick exit as soon as ur results appear.

This happend to me not so long ago . So i mentioned it in the forum and got a whole lot of abuse for it ?!
I love the idea about an agree to break button . This would stop people from entering and not leaving . You could start the tmioer when both players agree to break

force, that rule you just suggested use to be in place, until it got changed.
Maybe only have it for ranked matches?

That must have been annoying.
My problem against this suggestion (as with the chalk idea) is that it is complicating and adding more time to each game. I think the game needs to be kept very simple and adding these extra things for people to click is going to slow it down and possibly make the game less newbie friendly.
Perhaps as a premium feature, you can control your own game room, specifying what rank people need to enter, and how many games you want to play.
This would allow those users that have used the game for a long time to have more control, but not complicate it too much for new users.

This i bleeding over the other thread. See what you mean simon!
Rather than an agree button, which would certainly slow things down, why not have a user pick the number of frames they wish to play when creating a room?
Then for those who are worried about loosing rank, they simply create a room for one frame, and that would be it. If the players get on well and want to play more, they can agree to play x number of frames in a new room.
Well - it makes sense in my head! LOL

Why not just have a 5 second time delay before anyone can break off? simple and no buttons need to be pressed. Then if anyone wants to leave they can.

I like that idea a lot phillippe, and I'll be asking nick how difficult it is to code.

I remember the time delay being asked for before, and an agree button being cited as an easier option... guess time will tell!

I cant see how pressing a button or deciding the number of frames is easier than waiting for 5 seconds personally spinner lol. Not that your saying it is i know your just quoting. The trouble with deciding the number of frames first is you never know how many frames you want, then you'll have to set up another game if you want more when your in a rythm. It would spoil the quick nature of the game. As would a button. A 5 second delay is nothing in my opinion.

My main problem with a pre-agreement on number of frames would be that you may be joining a complete idiot's game and not know it. If you start getting abuse and gamesmanship within a couple of minutes, you're not going to want to be committed to five frames with the moron*. 5 secs delay sounds good, as is only leaving a game on your own shot.
*If there is any player in here named THE_MORON, I apologise. I wasn't referring to you.

Wow i think i could have done with a few full stops and comma's there rangers old lad. You cant judge everyone on the few arrogant ppl you get. most of the users on here are fine. Funny how your a golden break specialist and dont want a delay so ppl can leave....... 5 seconds is nothing to wait and i think its worth waiting for if your going to get a good game.

I didnt undestand it either, but i think i got the gist..
I only suggested the set number of frames to be something pre-agreed during a sigle game. Personally, i get fed up with people joining, playing one game, leaving etc etc.. would be nice to know someone was commited to a decent number of frames..
But back to the delay thing - i have always thought this was an excellent idea. Regarding the rank issue, i personally believe rank should be hidden till after a frame, then you would be rid of the "protect my rank" culture..
