how about instead of a tournament bein friendlies, the games are ranked, so if u win not only do you go thro to the next round, but its worth u while as u get sum points of the opponent as well

Been mentioned a few times now, apparently its too hard to do I think the reson was (not sure). Cracking idea though if possible....

I have often asked for this, it really makes no sense that they arent ranked. I would be a great way to make sure higher ranked players dont just camp out and not play newbies.

I like tournaments as they are because it puts everyone on a even footing.

I'm going to compare it to football again, in the FA Cup or the Carling Cup teams from all leagues can compete to win, without it effecting their league position. If the FA Cup suddenly also counted towards league points, then I doubt very much you'd get teams from the lower leagues entering, realising that they would probably lose points to the premiership teams.

They may sound nonsense, but I hope you can see my point!

For me, this is related to the multi-user and rank protecting issues. I wont elaborate as the reasons behind this are obvious i think!
