The dvla personalised registration ad and who knows what else is affecting the gameplay by stopping the cue following thru the cueball for example.
Some of the ads are extremely distracting too.
The ones with too much animation are the main problem, affecting performance and distracting players.
Put ads somewhere else other than on the game screen folks, its really annoying!!!!!

m8 its either a problem with u running progarams at the same time or a slow connection.cuz this sites always gona have advertisemets and every tourney or ranked game hasnt bein affected,so luk inta it a bit more b4 u blame the site......

And its no use blaming the adverts if you cant win games.

no ads = no game. put up with it.

put sticky tape over ur monitor 2 cover the ads or concentrate more on ur shots than the adverts & you'll get on a lot better

This is jst a fact and has been since pool sharks.

After a while you get used to the ads and time your shots accordingly, its the only way around it.

Either that or uninstall flash, that helps!

(or use firefox, but i accept no responsobility for the state you PC ends up in if you do that!)

This aint about this post but can i say that ive used firefox all my life and i have had no trouble withit or virus's and spyware etc . firefox is alot better than ie . and has become more and more secure over time . at firt it woz unstable but then it got updated etc and its awsome . even when it was unstable i had no trouble with it .

The ads are usually on in a strong effect when you are using up alot of memory as i feel (as i am) however when one appears u can stop them by right clicking and then turning the play option off. As far as getting rid of the ads then its not going to happen, ads bring the site more success and alot more than many people think, so please try and put up with them or try my suggestion

ive just found after reformating my pc that the version of java i have adds lag 2 my game ive tried on here and snooker but on snooker its a lot worse
ive download jave(tm) 2 platform

Interesting Jacko - i started playing funkysnooker because funkypool was lagging so bad. Never seen lag on the snooker site, maybe its linked to user numbers?

My personal find is that it is not linked to machine or connection. My old 500Mhz/256Mb laptop plays fine on dialup, no lag whatsomever. But the 2Ghz/1Gb P4 on broadband lags till its unplayable. Strange, but i'm happy to surf the forums if playability is poor, such is the greatness of the site!



(and Force - you must be one lucky lucky guy! LOL! within a few minute of installing, firefox has my anitivirus bleeping every few secs and hangs my system within an hour, terrible. and yes i have tried all versions. IE - rock solid and proven, just that flicking flash on and off int easy enough!)

And most people i know use firefox ... it must just be you . u have then passed on tht firefox is poor therefore more ppl dont try but jugde it .. shame on you spinner !!

Oh firefox is fine for what it is, but its seriously insecure. I really dont understand the hype for it when, if you want an alternative browser, Opera is a much better option.

Oh well, i cant play at home on any browser so what does it matter! LOL!

i dunno what it is with my pc i got a 1gig p3 128 mem and it lags like hell when the adds are on and it has been known to cost me a match i think its 2 do with the java version i have as b4 i had no problems with either site apart from a screwed up start up registery
