I did everything you said but it still wont let me use the funny balls! btw the funny balls have faces on them for the forum! thats the only thing i need the javescript for so its not mega important a can use homemade smilies! >>>>>>>>>>> :)

Uninstall your java version,restart computer then re-install.
Also make sure you don't have more than 1 update installed.
And try deleting the temporary internet files,(Tools>Internet Options)

Some JavaScript does fail on Opera.

i use modzilla as the balls are slightly bigger and come to think of it i never had a problem with internet explorer so it could be a dodgy mozilla i downloaded?

just having another go at the funny balls with internet explorer so here goes i think it works!

Cheers ste4eva 1 prob is from the link i dont have preferences coming up in 'edit' menu so i cant proceed any further (mozilla)
I have however enabled it in IE but having probs with that at the moment ( in process of getting that sorted so not askin 4 help there)
Any other options on how to do it via mozilla then? N E 1?

When you press one of the faces it simply appends the smiley code to your post.

To insert a smiley manually use the square brackets each side your desired smiley.

Hiya, rite i need help with this java scripting thing too!!
I cant post when im using my laptop as its saying:
Your Javascript is Disabled....(but its not!!!)
Ive checked its enabled and it is, ive visited all the links poss to sort this out but to no avail!!
its doing my head in i NEED to post! i cant break the habit just like that!.......

Anyone got any ideas?? PLZ im getting sooooo annoyed
