For the record, im a drummer too....
Albeit, not for long, but i still have a better understanding of drumming than most.

Hard and fast does not mean better, jazz drumming, which is more technical is often just as skillful.

Aye, yeh fair points there.

Of the drummers i named, only two of the bands could be labelled as emo, and both have much heavier elements.

My music library contains elements of emo, but not much at all, dont mix me up with squirt/ooj haha.

And Mournier is amazing thats very true.

The best drummer out there might not be famous..

Lars downloaded it, tht drummer must of had sore arms after tht.

i know hes not the best drummer in the world but rick allen from def leppard is pretty good considering hes only got one arm

oh they would...........i think ur being biased m8 as its one of ur fav bands.....try and see the broader picture im not saying hes a bad drummer but theres a lot of long established drummers out there.
You have to hand it (no pun intended) to Rick Allen From Def Leppard for carrying on after a car accident ripped his arm off. But i wouldnt class him as one of the 'Greats'
