Why do so many top players, start to play a game, then once they havent made a golden break or the chance of a run out is not there they leave the table?

This to me is just bad manners and rude.

Chances are they will win anyway but thats not the point.

Not just top players...I get a lot of people start a game against me, and if I pot something, they leave. What's that all about?

They should agree to it before they do that with the opposing player! In truth yes it is annoying when you just want a game of solid pool but it's for a good cause

If i make a game, a low ranker joins i will attempt a good break, why not?

It is in my nature, i am competitive and like achiving things! If its a poor break, i may leave as i dont see the point in playing low rankers! I win i get +0.3!

It's not a regular thing, trust me, _perfection_ does this, 3 goldens today. He breaks, either wins or makes a new name. Pure sefishness!

There is nothing competitive about leaving a game because you might not win!

It is a shame the experience is ruined for the genuine players by those who care about sily numbers etc.

i have personally come to the stage of letting people win if they care about rank. Its a good way of getting a few decent games and players not leaving because they get beat.
