Hi all, first post.
Don't know if it's been suggested before, but what would be the general feeling about adding a tournament in which you could play DOUBLES POOL (i.e. 2 players v. 2 players, alternate shots)?

I was thinking it would even things up, i.e. you could pair a lower ranked player automatically with a better player, and more sociable, since friends/acquaintances could play together.

What do you all think?

Certainly sounds good, shouldnt be too hard to code, however it would be a logistical nightmare to fnd an agreed set up i'd imagine.

See your point, but I was thinking:

Either join as:
1) A single player, you get paired with another single (maybe of opposite ability?)
2) A duo- can be arranged in advance through a chat room or something.

If your partner quits I agree that would be a problem, but unless you could find another player in the same situation, then tough.

Would that suit everyone?

I think doubles is on nick's todo list, would certainly be a good addition :)

ye it would be cool but its the problem of gettin partners and if 1 quits what 2 do but if nick wants it go 4 it

You could just get randomly picked with someone in a rank category to save time but their most probably be a debate of people wanting a specific player , like you say Matt you could also easily arrange it in a room as well. Great idea!

There may be a few difficulties in deciding the logistics of it (although see my earlier posts on this thread for suggestions), but it would be interesting to see what the powers on high think of it?
