The reason some of you are seeing inferior graphics on the US game is due to your screen resolution.

You should ensure you use 1024*768 or higher.

If you don't know how to check your screen resolution this site shows the information: http://www.pepfx.com/tools/screen-resolution/

i cant change mine, i know HOW to do it, but it simply wont let me, i change the option and the screen goes black, then it comes up with "out of range" and goes back to normal....

That sounds like your Graphics Card and/or Monitor setup is incorrect.

Unfortunately I can't help you with that, you'll need the correct drivers and monitor information for your system. It should be done with someone with a little bit of experience as well, as if you install the wrong driver it could force you to require a complete Windows install.

The problem is that 800*600 is too low a resolution to show accurate graphics.

UK pool still looks OK only because the table is out of proportion.

Note that every game you play will improve graphics by upping the resolution, not just funkypool.

UK pool all the way. I 0nly played US version once....never again!

Well i cant play any, but to practise, i prefer uk pool

I'm only really good at the UK table but i wanna get into US. The pockets just seem "daunting" and my potting is poor . I'll have practise like JSG and get some tips off some good players. (Btw has anyone got an ad - blocker for me that isn't firewall yet)

davy, do u know wat graphics card u got? if not....download directx9.0c, install it, n then start>run n type in dxdiag n then click on display tab..it'll tell ya wat ya need to know
