I thought it would be nice to hear how other players stumbled upon the site.

My story is i used to play another pool game called 'gallus pool' , but it was always crashing. It got to a point where after a while it would not even load for me. So i stopped playing all together.

Then one night after i had exhausted my other forms of entertainment i did a google search for 'pool' and low and behold this site came up in the results.

I was hooked straight away, but never registered for over a month. I used to play as a guest in a room i named 'The Pool Room' and have not looked back since.

Maybe some of you long term players could also give us some history about how things started.

I discoverd Pool Sharks first ... a freind from school ages ago told me about a pool game online which was prety poor because of their no members or chat policy :-S

So another freind of mine mentioned pool sharks so i had a go and loved it ... ive been playing on and off this site and pool sharks for over 5 years now and each time i was hooked ... now im hooked again .

Whenever im in and bored with nothing else to do i sit here and enjoy this sites great game and chat services .

i discovered funkypool by typing in free football games online and lots of sport pages came up and then i clicked on pool and funkypool flashed up dats how i discovered it ;-)

I found it whilst I was at school, bored one lesson and someone passed the site round the class and now here I am.. :-)

i discovered funkypool two years ago in school. you know how it goes in schools with 'fads'. during a boring I.T lesson it was like 'hmmm what website should i go on today?' a mate then said go on funkypool and gimme a game and i did just that. it then became a 'fad' in our school and everyone was playing it. i then played on funkypool in I.T lessons for the next couple month, but then the 'fad' of funkypool faded away and i just continued playing. Then i signed up with gilli and the story goes from there. :-D

I started playing about two years back, i was obseced with pool!, i found out about it because one of my mates used to play, i never had an email address so i couldnt sign up, ive only really had my own proper account since june/05, but a few of them have been deleted since then!

i was talking to my friend on msn in about august 2002 and he asked me if i wanted a game of pool, i said yes and we played on poolsharks, he had a name and i played as a guest, then i decided to sign up and play....i got hooked from then on in, then revenge told me about funkypool and i thought it was a better site so i moved to funkypool in december 2003, i tried a few pool sites then but i didnt like any of them except this one

mu mate told me about it and we played it at school then it got banned so we played after at home

A couple of mates found Pool Sharks through a google a few years ago at school one dinner time. I was doing some work that had to be in next lesson. So I saw them playing it and decided it was worth a detention and sacked the work off. Then when it became funkypool I decided to play that too.

well i am very fond of snooker and pool as a everyday sport i love pool as you brits love football!


i typed pool into google site and this site came up i played it for a bit and left it for about a month and remembered it again and iv bin on ever since!
