I tried to go on funkysnooker so i made a account and got the email....everything was fine until *dramatic music* the link would not work! *gasps*
I right clicked it and clicked open in new window and what happened? *audiendce* : what?
It came up but said page cannot be displayed! can some1 put a end to this tragic mystery? join us again for another episode of funkypool forums on a pool table near you!

Mate if you're using AOL then you need to do something in your settings to allow the link to work, thats what happened with me.

its obviouse that the link is broken nick will have to fix it nothing with aol or anything

nah i tried it just ignore the page cannot be displayed, u can log in as normal.

is it possible to sign up, tried it before and it didnt work...

May not be any new users for a while then lol.

I just successfully signed up for both accounts, and in addition there have been over 300 successful funkypool signups in the last few days, so I'd guess the problem is related to your email account.

Firstly, use care when entering your email address, check the email isn't in your bulk/spam folder, check your email account isn't over quota (emails will not be resent in case of failure).

Secondly, once you have the email clicking on the link should be sufficient to open it. If it does not work you can copy and paste the address into a new browser window. You should also consider changing your email account to a better one which supports links in mails (eg yahoo).

Flukey, if you tell me which email system and browser you are using I can look into why you are seeing the page not displayed error.

fair enough browser...wats dat ? but im using msn messnger hotmail for it. Also i have tried loggin in to the server but it says that my email address is already in use.

In the past i have found that the email link goes to my junk email for some reason so I checked in there and there was only spam and crap like that.

Lastly I did try copy and paste the link into the address bar but the internet said page cannot be displayed.

Whether this is my internet mucking about and deciding what i can and cant see is my problem, but if you want to carry on a investigation in this matter is your own decision because i can play as guest on snooker and im not very good at it either :D

I tried the signup through hotmail and it worked fine too, so this is a bit strange!

well i sign up but the email doesn,t come through its been aout 2 weeks and still nothing

You've ensured your mailbox is not full? or going to spam?

as nax said above its probally going to your junk folder if its not there then errr ask nick or nax for more lol
