Im from Cronulla where the riots are happening, was wondering what sort of press its getting overseas ie what the media said has happened

locals finally had enough and acted.

When local young girls wont go to the beach for fear of being assaulted - its time to do something

and of course the best thing to do is form a vigilante group! Assult, hurt and cause mass fear to hundreds of people. Riots have very very rarely solved a problem. TO anoyne about to quote the Watts riots etc I know of those. But what was on TV was sick, one guy was clinging to a middle eastern bloke by the leg when police were helping him get away. Odds are that guy never hurt, offended anyone.

Time to do someting, get better secutiy, become stricter on people caught assulting girls/people but riots like I've seen on TV and read about are a complete shambles, it brings shame on everyone involved, people, country and anyone else.

There are no asians involved at all.

It was "Men of Middle Eastern Appearance" severly bashed 2 volunteer lifeguards.

Has been a history of sexual assualts as you said tidnab.

Physical assualts and stabbings on males as well.

Thats why locals rioted. Has erupted into a full scale racial war now. Groups of men turning up in my area all the time with baseball bats and smashing everything.

Reports it may spread to other states.
