All day today I have been unable to log into the game server because it just shows a white screen with a red cross in the top left hand corner >:(

You proberbly lost your internet connection. If its just the game window that does this, then maybe your java is playing up. Check your java settings on your control panal and make sure all settings are working appropriatly.

Its acting as if its my internet connection but its only the game window that does it and my java settings are fine so im kinda confused :S Ill probably ave to give it a day or so...

hmmm, i'v come across a simlar problem before. When i logged on my internet seemed to be fine until i opened up the game window, then a red cross will pop up on the top left on a gray background and i lose my whole internet connection. Is this the problem you have? And do you use dial-up?

happens to me , refresh the page you should be ok , usally mine does it if i loose a bit of connection all i do is refresh page n tis cool again
