it's just happend today but after every shot i or the oppenent takes i get 1/8 in the corner for about 5seconds then i respond and that it happens all over again any ideas why?

That happened to me as well the other day it has happened a few times. I just thaught it was my computer but it obviously aint.

yerr tht could be true sorry did'nt realise there was 5 but hey! i fought i avoided the "evil" lag up to today and the system error you have been logged out thingy. but no clearly not

its probably a bug in the system,im not sure if its happeing to everyone,tink theres a lot a people who are gettin logged out now and then.your lagg problems sound like its a long the same lines as the bein logged out problems,to do with the timer and dat.

Yep, the game code has been re-written to ensure that the functionality remains consistent to all the users of the site.

The connection code has been re-written so that all users are treated fairly - i.e. no one gets to remain online longer than others whilst not responding.

Your computer "speaks" to the funkypool server across the internet. Sometimes this message is lost, caused by -

1) A problem on your network:
- No internet connection available for the game (file share software can cause such a problem, file sharing can hog all the available bandwidth).
- Other people who share your network resources are using all the bandwidth.
- Your connection going down (Dial up and broadband can stop working for certain amount of time)

2) Unlikely, but some users will experience a wide scale internet problem. (eg in the past there have been a couple of outages meaning no PCs in UK could connect to US sites)

3) A problem on the funkypool server, eg the site is too busy. If this happens we can look into the problem - however the problem will effect many equally (basically a large number of users may be dropped simultaneously).

Note it is not a serious problem anyway, 1/8 indicates 1 failure and 7 retry attempts remaining. It should reconnect correctly.

i have just found out that my connection and the site is played no-reason in me having lag (fingers crossed) instead it was my local area having roadworks supplied by BT internet. the silly diggers must of dug the cables up and disconnected the users near by anyway i think the problem is finally resolved after 3 days and i can get on here normally now! by the way is the actual lag problem been resolved yet?
