I keep getting a box with a red X init and a white backround so i cant log-on to the game plus i have to take away java to log-on so do you know how to fix this?.

Some websites have applets written exclusively to run on the Microsoft Virtual Machine (MSVM). They may not work on any other virtual machine. Websites with MSVM dependencies need to upgrade their applets to be compatible with the Sun JVM. Users can write to the website contacts to upgrade the applet.

I had this problem and i fixed it.

Go into control panel and un-istall all the java you find in there and don't re-install it.

It should fix it.

Your java applets arent workin most likely.

Click tools, Internet options then security settings then enable applets and change your security level.

try both nothings changed

i have the same problem but prob not as extream. my internet connection is fine until i click open game. The window takes much longer to load up, then after about 2 mins a red X appears on the top left and i lose my whole internet connection. This happens about 60% of the time and loads up whenever it feels like it. It started doing it 100% of the time but i did as guess_who explained above and its a little better.

Those of you with similar problems using internet explorer, i suggest you click control panel, then click network and internet connections. When you have done this, click internet explorer which should be on the left if using xp home. Then use troubleshoot to find the problem. i find it a good help.
