I was in a game and i 7 balled my opponent, and straight after i potted the black the game froze, the black was sunk though, it was shown on the left hand side.

The little blue numbers that appear by the game timer appeared and slowly began counting up to 9 (moving up one every minute or so) i could'nt change room or chat or anything so i decided to log out(assuming that the result would count as the black had been sunk).

But when i checked my name, the 7 balling or result had not registered. The result didnt actually register on screen (On the server) as it completely froze, i assumed it had, just not for me,

Is there any chanche of checking game records? Because i would quite like the 7 balling to count :)

hmmm the timer comes up on my screen sometimes i just wait and it mostly gets to 3/9 or something then i get to respond again.

the server crashed, but i'd sunk the black before it did, but it crashed before the result actually went through, can i have my query answered please??

Hey, sorry for the delay in replying.

Just been through the logs, the server did not crash or restart on the 24th. Is it possible you had other apps running, which hogged the internet connection?

Usually when the numbers on the top right get quite high, this may indicate that you have lost your internet connection. What i do to start responding is to simply re-connect without closing the window before the numbers reach 9/9, and you should start responding again. If this is not the case, and you are still connected, then this may be due to other running windows on your system.

when i logged back in 10 minutes later, there was an annoucement from nicknax saying sorry about the server crash??

i did check my username on player details, and it werent shown, i assumed that when i logged out it would update,i was wrong :(

At the time i was simply curious and a little miffed that the 7 balling didnt count, as most people would be, but yeh, at the end of the day, it dont matter.
