is it just me or does the white ball seem to roll forever and always end up in a pocket??? :-P

probabally am just having a really bad day.

it does roll a bit but you have to expect that because that is what happens on a real pool table just hit them softer than usual ;-)

am pretty sure that it doesnt roll with that amount of speed on a real pool table. :-P

it just seems that the white ball rolls forever now.

suppose a will just have to get used to it and stop potting the white so offten:-)

thats probably because you play on pub pool tables? the profesionals play on super fast clothes, and at pubs etc they use low standard cloths, which are slower.(more durable so they dont get ripped)

Also the white ball maximum speed is upped to allow better breaks. Controlling the white at less speed is tricky, I try and use the collision with the other ball to slow it down (eg hit full ball and the white will just about stop).

Also the white goes in a lot because the pockets are sticky outty...

can you do proper pockets nick?

yeah gilli but a dnt think we are all professionals on this and a dnt think alot of ppl have used a compition standard pool table do you? hence the most realistic thing would to have it similar to a pub table?

Yep... included in the changes that occurred recently was to give this game the capability of having proper pockets.

Am about to start working on the next version where you will be able to choose your pool table / game out of: original, simulation, US pool 8 / 9 ball, so expect to see more games over the coming weeks/months.

Also its a bit more realistic because in real pool the white ball is much lighter than the rest therefore causing less friction.
