Is it possible where an opponent deliberately crashes a game (somehow) and then plays the waiting game. Whoever leaves loses the points.

yes, i agree, for instance can0whoopass, done it to me in a tourny, i left and also in a ranked game!!

I dont think its possible to deliberately crash a game but they may take there time if they want to thats not crashin the game.

Some players play the waiting game as it slows the game down as the opponent may be a fast player. So it tends to make them play worse.

it could be possible but im not sure, its proberbly your internet connection and what happened in your games with can0woopass, shaun, may be just coincidence. Did you play him straight after the tournament or some other time you logged in? If you were playing him after the torn, then your internet connection may have still been busy.

no in the tournament and he was not responding and it logged me out. I have a very good broadband and have never had a problem with it the the one year contract.

It's pretty hard to delibratly freeze a game ice_cool

crashing occurs more frequently on windows 98 se believe me i used 2 hav it. i dnt no about other versions but xp is much more reliable (still chose 2 crash in a tourney final tho lol)
