A couple of months ago, I watched a DVD of the late Bill Hicks. I've found some quotes on t'internet and thought I'd share some with you, because the guy was a genius on stage!

the non smoking one rings a bell, but i cant bring bill hicks' face to mind, whats he look like?

Mullet sort of hair do. He was on the David Letterman show I think for a while in the states.

yeh he was on dave letterman about 6 times, and the last time controversial as he turned up but then got told he was no longer welcome as his stage persona is too controversial (even for letterman at that time).

he never did another live performance after that as he died from cancer.

im a huge bill hicks fan and have been for over 10 years.

there are far to many quotes to speak of with hicks and his obserational humour and his satirical outlook to everything from totalitarian governments, religion, drugs, sex and music are still a breath of fresh air today.

never has been a comic like him, he was a demonic pracher at times on the stage and i often found myself curled up on floor in stitches.

utter brilliance. he's amazing, easily one of the best. when there was the thread about favrite comedians, i said bill hicks, no one knew who i was talking about
