Not responding... help

My game is consistently not responding and kicking me out. It is incredibly frustrating. I'm using Internet Explorer on Windows 8.1. Any ideas to help stop this from happening would be appreciated.

This is common with new java versions. 8.31 seems to be the fix for random disconnections, happens more in tournaments.

My home laptop is windows 8.1 too, I use the latest version of Java and Firefox ESR, works perfect.
