does anyone on here know how to get funky on yin of these chromebook jobbies?

Chrome has flash player built in as well. I use the funkypool website perfectly fine with my Chromebook. I'm typing it on this now
Java does not work directly with ChromeOS and if there is a way to do it, it will be a pretty dodgy way to do it.
If you're quite technically minded, you could install a chroot with Crouton. This will allow you to use Linux on your Chromebook, but can be quite tricky to do it.
