Any fellow pool shooters a fan of poker , specifically no limit Texas hold'em

Basically it's free live poker in all sorts of pubs I myself am in the southern league and there are 7 venues I can play at but there are venues all over the UK
You play for ranking points and after every 2 months the points are added up and the top 24 or so go to area finals with chances to win entry to real money events
You start with 5k chips, blinds go up every 15 mins and start at 25\50 then 50\100 , 75\150 etc

No wonder it's free mate, that's a god awful structure for a live tournament. You want 10k chips, 25/50 and 30 min blinds really!

starts at 19:30 if the blinds were 30 mins we wouldn't get finished
