Greece 4 v 2 Mexico
Very pleased to get 2 points. Another day could have got the draw, but Turtle didnt miss, got a run out in 9 followed by a 7 ball clear in the space of 2 frame. Not much else I could have done, gl in the semis!

Greece 4-2 Mexico
Greece got the first chance of the game, some great link up play which let to them scoring the first goal of the game. Mexico fought back well with some excellent defensive play leading to a sudden counter-attack which caught the whole greek defense off guard, only for mexico to follow up immediately again with another goal, while greece were still reeling from the equaliser. 2-1 down and from tip-off greece burst into action with another goal to go 2-2 which mexico didnt stand a chance at defending(runout). The same happened immediately again only from the mexican tip-off this time(7 balling ). And a real battle followed then but resulted in a last minute goal for greece which ended mexico's hope for their first ever World Cup.

Switzerland 4 - 2 Ghana

8uk: 2-0
Began in 8us where the switz did good for a top clearance to kick start. Then came the Ghana with a top assist when a tough end, before the goal to equalise. Then came 9us where frame 1 saw the most luck ever by passes just making ever time, before the finish was put away. Then the equaliser came again when switz missed a sitter and Ghana capitalised the opposite end. Then came 8uk where the Ghana couldn't find the finish unlike the switz. ggs mate!

Greece 4-3 Iran
Iran almost caused another upset in this years world cup. 2-0 down they fought back well to go 2-2 eventually tieing the game up again at 3-3 to send the match to extra time. If it wasn't for some very unfortunate play in extra time Iran would undoubtedly find themselves in their first ever world cup final.

ty mate, ggs! at least i took it right down to the wire, just couldn't convert my penalties.. gutted but happy with my teams performance!!! Will be back next time, watch out world

Started in 8us where Spain got it wrong to begin on an easier end, missing, before Switzerland capitalised. Then a game of neither side putting the act in, came out Spains way to level. Then 9us was the unstoppable from Spain, with a top move of skill with a run out, before only a shot set for the combo finish to lead 3-1. Then 8uk 1st frame saw a move of just on the end of everything as Spain just made it. Before Switzerland netted a hefty consolation. ggs wp! good luck for final!

Was a good match here, Spain showing how they won the world cup in the first place. But Greece's counter-attack proved too much for the spaniards, resulting in an astounding win for Greece.
