Could the rule be removed for the last ball of the rack so that double potting off the split shot was allowed?

It would make run length ridiculous Lmao, I don't want to be sat there for 20-30 minutes a game lol

I wouldn't mind potting for 20-30 minutes though?

So basically you want to make the game easier for yourself? Where is the fun in that?

To implement an international rule, it makes only sense if the first rule above all is implemented.

Not so much to do with double potting, but still to do with straight. When you go to watch a straight game already in progress, can we not make it that you can actually watch that game from the next re-rack of the pack? (i.e. when the 14 balls have been potted to cause the re-rack).

Encourages skilful splitting of the balls, flicking balls out gently etc. Good rule in my opinion.

finally someone on this thread i agree with

sure it's annoying when you get a double pot, but people think that you're just smashing into the pack at a random place with full power. This is incorrect. Power control and placement are key, and if you practice them, you'll see double pots on pack splits decrease. There are spots the pack that i avoid unless it's a last resort because i know that it generates a double pot a large percentage of the time.
