Can anybody suggest a nice place to stay for a weekend break in Scotland in Feb?

Really want to do Ayrshire region or thereabouts and dont want to go up North but also considering Borders region

All ideas welcome

I live in in Dumfries & Galloway not far away from Ayrshire and i would say it's quite a nice place to visit well more the Galloway part than Dumfries

Ayrshire is a big place. North Ayrshire is nice, round about Troon, Largs, Alloway are all nice places. So is the Isle of Arran, just off the North Ayrshire coast.

Got a wee place sorted not too far from Ayr town centre so looking forward to it
