has this happened to you ???
ive been in games today, the game has frozen and both players get logged out, but are able to type to each other until the match clock kicks both players out
it has happened before, but only ever seems to happen in tournaments
any ideas admin / nick

A game of killer froze earlier today, everyone just sitting there until they left the game.

Just happened again!
Not exactly the same way though. I didn't wait it out this second time, left the game window. Checked back later to see how much I lost, and there aren't any results for this second "freeze". Not sure what happened, but no results are better than bogus ones.

happened to us 3 times yesterday in killer.. twice we had to just leave and the players that stayed got timed out.. then 3rd time the guy it got stuck on left and the game unfroze..lol

I played a few games last night and it hasnt happened to me yet. I'm guessing you don't lose any rank from this happening, or there would be riots and Nick would be receiving death threats lol!!

This is not a new thing it's been happening for a while only just nowadays it's been experienced by more and more players. I've lost count how many times a player especially during a game of killer has either been timed out or (frozen), subsequently having to leave the room.
They then log back on 2 minutes later and there's no repeat performance. Their problem could just be 'connection failing' thus encouraging to time out, but the more and more people who are experiencing this unfortunate scenario makes it seem/appear to be the main servers fault.
A while back there used to be a 'Warning: The server will restart in 20 minutes' messages every now and again, I personally have not seen one of these in ages. Maybe the main server needs to be restarted thus refreshing the connection.
