Yeah it's meant too, reason I asked were mine didnt update automatically, I've done it myself now but maybe that's where the fault lies?

It only places a icon initially in your taskbar i believe prompting you that a update is available, you then have to click it and do the update manually.

i tick no anyway, don't want any contamination I only tend to update when i have a Java problem

Java are constantly updating to sort out previous security issues m8 ...use the newest at all times if possible...as for IE move up to 8 if your on XP 9 or 10 if on windows 7 or 8.

I used to have that message in the tray at the bottom, letting me know there's an update available. But it's stopped popping up for some reason, which is half the reason I had this java problem last week, because I just didn't know there was an update because I was used to it telling me.

It is possible your notifications have been turned off by another application..
Goto control panel, appearance and personalization
then customise icons on the task bar
and change notifications for Java or more if required.
I used to have that message in the tray at the bottom, letting me know there's an update available. But it's stopped popping up for some reason, which is half the reason I had this java problem last week, because I just didn't know there was an update because I was used to it telling me.

Whoever is having problems with this PLEASE follow these instructions!
Firstly, make sure your Java is the MOST UPDATED! To check, please use this website:
http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Once you have checked that, if it is not the most updated, it will prompt you to update it. Once updated, you should be able to play again. MAKE SURE YOU ARE RUNNING THE MOST UPDATED JAVA!
