WTF is it with this ranking system?!

Playing a 8Ball mara semi against a 750 NEWBIE... up 3-0, lose the 4th and win 4-1, But yet i lose more points in that one frame that i gain in the 4 i won?!!

Yes i would get it if he wasnt a 'newbie', but fs get this sorted

i no mate how you feel lol, loads of multi users on here atm. im not sayin that guy is 1 of them. but mods and admin dont do jack about it. they would rather sit in chat and boot someone for saying poo

Yeah I think most people on me including are not keen on the ranking system. Especially when people rest and abuse it to get higher stats lol.

What happens is, and I only found this out recently, that the deeper they get into their newbie period, the less the reduction is.

So a guy who has played 40/50 newbie games (like your opponent) will pretty much take the same rank from you as someone who's not a newbie.

Very annoying.

resetting is perfectly fine. its an option there to be used. at least when a good player resets ( not you mad_matt), you still know what to expect when you play them lol

It's a joke tbh, and im not playing another frame on here until its sorted, no point in having a ranking system when it just takes the biscuit

Play 8UK, you get smaller gains, and losses. So it doesn't feel so bad.

Straight Pool x 3.0

So effectively Tournaments are *4 the amount of win/loss to 9 Ball Arcade. Bit strange.
