Really doesn't look like they were widened at all.

The Jaw lines are different, you can see one side of the jaw on the new table is really short, so you can't roll it in off the jaw now as the point of the jaw is a lot closer to the poc.

Plus it looks like the actually poc is a little more inside the table closer to the jaws which is why they probably drop easier.

Yh just as i thought the poc is slightly more into the table, meaning less jaw so them 1s that would be right on the edge before will now drop, ive seen this in action and i like it tbh.

It's still a table that needs to be respected in terms of actually pots u can't hit the cush half way from the poc like UK and it still goes in lol.

Plus the other improvements in game looks good, so i'd say a job well done.

P.S I think this is the table they used on killer pool ya no, maybe that 1 was slightly bigger pocs, balls and table but yh reminds me a little of that.

Just trace the pockets on the piece of paper and you will see that the new ones are about 20% bigger and that is a lot.

Doesn't the picture above show that the pockets aren't bigger, they're just further in the table?

The pro tables are the equivalent of the original on snooker. Sorts the flukers from the true pro's.

They haven't widened, the cushion dimensions is exactly the same, however the corner hole has moved closer to the table. This means that a ball bouncing round in the jaw is more likely to be potted.

The main reason to update was that the cushion detail, especially around the pocket, was blurred. I think making this sharper and easier to see may actually make more impact to the game than the slight increased chance of potting.
