These things take a lot to earn , Me myself have tryed to get one today and put alot of effort into it.

Whoever wins the later tournaments and most micro's generally wins it.

One day I won 7 main tournaments in a row, lost the 8th in the final then won the next one too.

I lost the day event to someone who came on won 2 main tournaments and 4 or 5 micro's.

From then on have not bothered about tournapoints as I think the system is flawed.

i think the whole system should go back to as it was 5 or 6 years ago, tournapoints are a load of scallops, people used to look forward to the uk mara(think it used to be 9pm gmt summer) i think in the past ive actually won a tournament and lost rank points at the same time, i dont think many people care for there rank or tournapoints anymore,and tbh these days you struggle to get a decent game of 9 ball, they always used to be 3 over 800s games and plenty 750 plus, and it ws a lot easier to maintain your rank, seems the way forward is to reset and try and build a decent stats profile and i might join em

Yeah was a lot more fun when all tournaments were friendly and the only thing to aim for was winning the thing. Micro tournaments are alright in principle but I don't believe they should be involved in tournapoints because someone can win 3 or 4 of them an hour easy and it just takes away the hard work someone has put in to win a main tournament.

Ridonkulous (brilliant word by the way) the way things changed when in a lot of people opinions we had the best set up the site has seen. Now all you see is people aiming for tournapoints this that and the other. I'd rather see tournaments as friendly and rank back to the way it was.

Scrap all tournaments I say, problem solved!!!

Tournaments should be held very few hours makes it harder to win, if I am honest medals are not hard to win so long as your willing to play micros and play the bigger tournies also, I once won the week event but only won one day event during that week :-) these things happen ;-)

I think the weighting of the ranking points need to be change. I can no longer come only and play a decent ranked match because there is no incentive to do so as you get minimal points. Then in tournaments you lose too many points, especially in 9ball

well heres a perfect example, ive just beat pool_beast in a8 ball tourney 2 0,i gained 0.3 a game cos hes reset, hes a 760 plus player all day

I remember it being 10pm and then 11pm when the clocks changed, but yeah that was the heyday for me on here. Iv never seen so many people in a tournament, it was the one with most significant appeal to it and now it's a joke. The ranking points in tourny games was a great idea in my opinion. However tournapoints is flawed and poor. I just barely managed to get the month medal while also holding down a full time job, a full time girlfriend and going out with mates, so I suppose it can be done. I think I was more lucky others weren't on as much though. At least the people who spend their lives on here can say they have won something.

Well you still managed in excess of 2700 games in over 50 odd days which is an average of about 50 games per day every day. Clearly that level of games, allied to quality results in tournament play, is what quite rightly earns the medals.

I don't see any great problem with offering rewards for players who are able to/want to play more games on here. Those that dont want to/can't are still able to compete in individual tournaments and aim for high places in the ranking tables.

It does give an additional something for players of all types to aim for if they want though.

However I do agree with previous comments made elsewhere about removing TournaPoints from Micro Tournaments to leave them simply as fully weighted ranked games and therefore place the site focus then firmly back onto the 'main' tournaments.

Yeah, but obviously I never came on every day and played 50 games then toddled off till the next day lol. I was on nights a lot which made it handy for me to come on and win a few. Contrary to some saying I don't have a life lol, I got payed basically for playing this. It was not an easy task though. It does go down a lot to how much time you spend on. I don't really care what happens on here anymore, I just enjoy the game and if I fancy a challenge then I aim to complete it. I just dislike the stirring and rumours and general belittling comments. Micro tournies are a waste of time alltogether imo.
