Afternoon,

I've recently installed the latest Java and when I open up the game window, it just keeps loading and nothing else happens.

Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting your system?


- Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs...
(or variation)

- Remove all Java versions
- Restart System (unnecessary)
- Go to Java.com, download/install latest version.
- Restart System (Necessary!)
- Try load FunkyPool.

If it didn't work, let me know.

Sparkone - Did all that and no luck.

OS - Vista and tried on IE, FF and Chrome - None worked.

I had this problem before, after my computer restarting several times it finally worked, still no idea what caused it though

I do apologise, it's just frustrating that it's not working despite doing all the things to get it to work. Just left it for 15 minutes and still trying to load when I came back to it.

Surely someone else can help?

Could try asking flapjack, he is one people usually ask when it comes to computer stuff.

Flapjack, I originally checked all that and it was saying java was running etc and I installed the latest one.

I've resorted to a system restore which I didn't want to do but it seems like it's done the trick (for now)

Full restore is a bit extreme, but hey, nice 'n' thorough

Only thing I knew would work for certain. It appeared that before Java wasn't asking for my permission, whereas now it is.
