My first Thread

I was wondering why the Overall Ranking doesn't have a top 10 of all time, just like the rest of the ranking system so people can judge where they are compared to other people at other times, gives people something to chase.

Must be a reason why n if it's a stupid thing that i haven't thought about then just ignore this lol.

But if it's a simple thing to just add on then i think it should be put in for us, for bragging rights

True, but all those links are from years ago and people are still asking for it to be implemented, so it is something that everyone seems to want i can't see anyone that was against the idea, what does everyone else think???

Yea idk of anybody who was against it.

I am against it, as then people will want lowest 10, and that would name and shame me, so I'd have to ask clooney to ban Nick for implementing it

If you look though the rankings tables never show anyone higher than 50 on it so people would have to look at profiles.

The overall ranking would mean that the best player on the site or player(s) would be seen and it may give some people a nice target to achieve.

indeed m8, but tbh people have been asking for this for the best part of 5 years, somehow I don't think there listening or simply just don't want to do it!

Can't be done, as much as we would all like it.

Whys that m8, I don't rly understand how it can't be, I've heard some peeps say it's not stored or something, well store it then!! ...or get some lemon to keep updating the table every 5 mins either way we want a table!!

On another note then, kirk, what's the highest u remember seeing m8?

It isn't stored for a reason but I forget why now as it was explained years ago. It has been requested for years now but it can't be done and to my best knowledge won't be. And I remember seeing a few accounts with 900+ ranking overall but this was before killer and straight were introduced. Since them and tournaments that are ranked I doubt many people will ever reach 900 in a single game type nevermind overall. The highest I remember was smithbit who had 920 something overall but I think that was overtook at some point.

i think damien had 900+ too. cant remember his rank though.

He did as did quite a few. There was a lot of cheating back in the day though or carefully chosen opponents. And 900 was easier to obtain. Not that Damien was one, he is easily that good.

don't forget that if this was to be implemented then it wouldnt take into account stats from the past i.e. the highest overall max will start at what ever players are on now

hope this comes in... might actually keep me and a few other decent players who come on and off on for a lil bit longer much like the always watched dame vs dark chocoo vs seb for the straight highest run lol
