this discipline is very popular in albania, in my country, so it would be great if it gets added in funkypool. the rules for this discipline are here

basically (far as i understand it) its same as 15 ball but you get points for the balls value so for example you pot the 1, 2 and 4 you get 7 points, pot the 15 you get 15 points. The game ends once someone has reached the points target, i think the target is 50 or something like that.

yes its like that. you start potting from the 1 ball to the 15 ball. the target is 61 points

I was going to post about this last week . I thought it would cause excitement on here because alot have said in the past that they like the 15ball idea

Depends on the rules of it i think, because if you are allowed to carry on potting if you potted from break then a lot of the not so decent players would lose constantly to bigger players especially those who have managed to knock in 30, 40 and 50+ runs on straight on many occasions.
It sounds good as long as it followed the rule on straight where you can not pot from the break. Only my opinion though.

Not sure there would be any issues around the break. The underlying game is more 9 ball than Straight and in 9 ball even now Run Outs aren't too common so winning Run Outs in Rotation ought to be even rarer.
Only awkward rule having read them might be the limitation on Safeties but I am guessing it wouldn't be insurmountable.
Would be fun to see it in place.

Sadly about as unlikely as doubles though to be ever added
I'd like to see it and doubles
Please Nick

By my simple maths you would need to pot 11 balls in order (ie having hit the lowest ball 'on' first on every shot) to run out straight from the break.
Maybe less pots required depending on any combination shots - but certainly more than I would bet are potted on the majority of 9 Ball run outs.
and, even more certainly, more than I potted for the majority of my 9 Ball run outs!!
