My mouse unrecognised?

my laptop keeps saying usb device unrecognised, an ideas how to get it working? sorry if its on the wrong page

on my laptop i have 3 usb ports 2 on the left 1 on the right the 2 on the left say unrecognised but the single 1 on the right works lol

Think most have that same problem mate as tweedweasle is right the right USB port will be the one for the mouse as a mouse is located on right side of desktops 99% of the time.
