This has been going on for a good view days now, most who know me know that i currently share the laptop with my otherhalf Jema, recently though when using google chrome i can sign in normally but if i sign out to let Jema come on and she tries to log in the screen just goes white and does nothing until she is eventually logged out due to in activity on the forum or whatever. Internet Explorer works for her but google chrome is the main one we use but it just wont work for her and if she signs into funkypool on chrome then i cant sign in for that 20 - 30 minutes. This happens all the time

Has anyone got any idea on what to do about it? Jema is good with computers but she can't work out what the problem is.

This is quite wierd because this also happens to me...

If i log off and try to log back on my screen and my screen goes white and black - i did use chrome but now i am using internet explorer - I think chrome is alergic to funkypool

I do not think it is a problem with the browsers, I can get on perfectly fine, no problems, but whenever Jema logs in she gets a white page. This has never happened to mine.

With Google Chrome being our main browser, it is a pain for Jema to have to open a whole new browser just for funkypool.

Opera for me is THE best browser, chrome played up all the time for me, white screening etc, to me even IE is better than chrome and chrome is faster

Opera is a pile of poop in my own opinion, tried it and hated it.

Control panel >Java>little java tab>View.

You will now see your installed Java versions. In the fourth column (titled 'Java Runtime Parameters') double click, and you will have a text entry box.

Type -xmx500m into the box. It is not recommended to set this to any more than 60% of your total RAM!

Click Apply and OK, then close your browser (if open) and re-open. Try playing Funkypool..

^He seems to know what he's talking about!Agreed use Opera, but i know you want to solve the google problem, so i don't know what is wrong, seems maybe its timing out right when u click log in? when it is loading page, seems its timing out and just staying white? what im reading. But im not sure what will cause it to timeout, if im right bout that. Sorry. No solution here, just rambling.

Although..i have sum what a similar prob, not to go off topic, but i use Opera, and sometimes lately (last week now maybe) i get
500 Internal Server Error
nginx/1.0.6<-----?

I thought it's my internet, but a thought that maybe it isn't still lingers. (Internal Server?

There is not a problem playing funkypool as i can play it on Google Chrome, but the problem is when pixie_dust comes on her account the screen just goes white and it is like she is timing out for some reason. It can't be the browser as i get on it fine....

The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the web site's server, meaning that this is not your problem.

On topic now - when you log out, have you tried clearing your cache? You can do this by pressing CTRL + H. You will end up with this screen.

Click clear all browsing data, then tick the following boxes.


Or, it could be that the server hasn't logged you out yet. Meaning it might say you have on Funkypool, but not officially on the server.
